JUMP! Point Cook owners opening second site in Hoppers Crossing

Steve & Kath Currie, the owners of the popular JUMP! Swim Schools Point Cook, are opening their second swim school with us in neighbouring suburb Hoppers Crossing.

Steve, a father of two young girls, said there was always strong interest to open a second swim school in Hoppers Crossing as their first site reached full capacity quite quickly with an ever-growing waiting list.

He says,

“Every name on that list represented a child who was not in the pool learning a lifesaving skill. Over time we were not moving names off that list and into the pool as often as we would have liked and recognised the need to make a change.

“The best option for the children and for our staff was to open a second site and run more lessons during the hours we are already running classes at Point Cook.”

Steve & Kath struggled finding swimming lessons for their first daughter Elianna after she was placed on long waiting lists to swim at their local council pool.

“We saw a need for a local swimming school, with smaller classes and a quiet, less overwhelming environment. With smaller classes and more individualized attention, we could make a real difference to the swimming skills and thus the lifelong safety of the children in the area.”

The JUMP! Swim Schools Hoppers Crossing open day will run from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, July 22, and will include free face painting, goodie bags, party cake, a sausage sizzle and tours of the facility.

JUMP! Swim Schools Hoppers Crossing is at 4/15 Lentini Street.
